We are doctors in mash 58. Our patient is Uncle Sam. Our job is to bring him back to health in order for him to help us save America. We, as cardiologists try to avoid flatlines and arrhythmias. We are a team of doctors that search and destroy any illnesses that threaten Uncle Sam's life. With the help of Brother Sherlog, we destroy potential obstacles. Many problems depict what illness Uncle Sam has. His glaucoma is caused by communism, because they fail to see that communism fails. His punctured lung comes from inhaling too much of the dust bowl. His poweritis comes from nationalism that boosts too much pride, and causes problems. We are here to fix those errors!

Alexander to the Rescue!
It doesn't take a president to change the world! Alexander Hamilton proves this many times in his life. First of all of his impressive accomplishments, he got the United States to assume the national debt that it owed. He was also the first secretary of treasure for the United States. He was the co-author for the federalist papers. He also advocated for the ratification for the United States Constitution. Sadly, he lost his life in a duel with Aaron Burr. He is on the 10 dollar bill.
World War 2
World war 2 laster from 1939-1945. Many soldiers were lost, but the war was won. It was a war in which approximately 72 million people lost their lives. It was a fight between the United States, Soviet Union, and United Kingdom, vs Germany, Italy and Japan. The war lasted 6 years. During times of war the economy would flourish. But is money worth war?
Say 'no' to Vietnam War!
The Vietnam war was a mistake made by Lyndon B Johnson. Although he really did go out of his way to help African Americans he also lead this country to a war that we cannot win. This was an war that was unecessary because people felt that this was not in the Interest of America. A court case takes place of 3 students wearing black armbands to show their dislike in the war. They were suspended, but fought it in a court case that they would later win. Also College Students also opposed, often chanting, "Hell no, we won't go!" In my opinion the Vietnam war was unnecessary.
Uncle Sam, we're here to help!
Uncle Sam is our patient and we are performing surgery on him. He suffers from a lot of different illnesses that lags his performance in America. He wants us, to join the army. This is how we help him recover and it is also a way to help him. Uncle Sam is getting kind of old and that's why us-doctors must save him and America. He wants us. We are cardiologists. Cardiologist are the people who perform heart surgeries. That's what we are and we hope to remove the 'poweritis' from Uncle Sam. His poweritis leads him to make decisions that are not so wise.
No Japs wanted!
African Americans weren't the only ones that were discriminated against. The Japanese were also discriminated upon. During World War 2, Japanese immigrants were thought to be terrorist or spies. They interned in camps and were not allowed outside into the public. America was paranoid. There have been many incidents in American History where paranoia has caused the isolation and racism of certain people. Our current paranoia includes middle eastern Muslims. On airports, they are suspected of carrying bombs. This is not fair, but it is for the safety of the United States.
The center, the black man.
The center of our studies and class is the black man. With the presence of African American, many changes has initiated throughout the United States. They weren't considered humans, they were animals, less than human. They were considered property. 3/5 of them were considered votes. The civil war, protests, slavery, and countless other situations occured because of African Americans. If Dr. Martin Luther King and Ulysses S. Grant met, would they agree, or disagree?
That's what she said!
No, not the joke! The literal meaning. Back in the 1800's women had little to no rights. They were thought of as figures who only served for cooking, cleaning, and giving birth. They were not allowed to vote, and held no political position. Women were thought as people inferior to men. Molly Pitcher, was importantt to the armed forces. She delivered water to the thirsty soldiers. Women are worth more than just house work!
Man in the Beaker!
The man in the beaker was another experiment that we did in mash 58. In this class period, a man was placed inside the beaker. Under the beaker was a fire. In my opinion that person in the beaker represented the black man. The water represented his griefs and pain that he would face. His fire was the savior. Why? Because it will free him from the water, which is trying to drown him. Under the fire were books that rid him of his ignorance, also his savior. Over time the water evaporated and the black man was free from his problems..
We are all in the salad.
As our last class project we created a salad that contained all the ingredients that depicted the United States. I was the chef for this class period. The salad contained, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, lemons, and greens. The salad represents the United States because the United States is a melting pot, which means it contains a lot of different people with various backgrounds. I feel that this experiment was the most important because it not only speaks about one specific race or person, but the whole United States.
